The Trustees and Staff at Hear for Norfolk were pleased to host the presentation, ‘Dementia: what does it mean and how is being able to hear relevant?‘ by Jenny Hodge.
Jenny Hodge, a registered nurse for the last 38yrs, who has devoted her career predominantly to community nursing in Norwich and Norfolk. Latterly, Jenny worked as an Admiral Nurse, a dementia nurse specialist supporting families to cope better with the challenges of living with someone with dementia. She joined Hear for Norfolk this year as an Aural Care Practitioner. Jenny acknowledges how hearing loss impacts quality of life for all, and how this further impacts people experiencing cognitive decline or diagnosed with dementia.
